To validate new submissions and grant system access, a Supervisor or designated
approver can approve individual or bulk identity requests.
Procedure
Click My workspace
> Tasks.
Use the Status filter to find your request:
All
Displays all pending or completed tasks.
Pending
Displays tasks waiting for approval.
Completed
Displays completed tasks and their status. For example, approved, completed, denied,
or
canceled.
In the Tasks list, click an identity request to view
details.
The identity request options differ for requesters, supervisors, and
approvers.
Review the identity request details.
Click Edit and make any required changes and click
Save.
If the request is not valid or contains incorrect information, click
Deny, enter the reason, and click
Confirm.
If the request is valid and correct, click Approve.
In the Reason for approval field, enter the reason for approval
and click Confirm.
The identity request is now approved. The identity is created and, if applicable,
inherits the role access to associated areas during the periods specified in their identity
request.
