What's New: July 2025

Updated part numbers

Genetec™ has updated and simplified ClearID part numbers to support changes in pricing for ClearID systems. There are now fewer part numbers required to build your system.

Create custom identity fields

As an Account administrator, you can now create and manage custom fields for identities directly in the ClearID web portal. With custom identity fields, you can store extra information like vehicle profiles, employee types, worker schedules, and more for all identities.

Skip access request approval workflow

You can now exclude users and roles from the access request approval workflow for an area. For example, you can decide to bypass the workflow and automatically approve access requests for people who belong to a specific role, like Upper Management.

Save visitor photos

You can now save photos of visitors taken during check-in to the Genetec ClearID™ web portal. You can access saved photos for incident management and auditing purposes by going to Reports > Visitors .
