Transferring direct reports

To reassign team members to a new hire or accommodate personnel changes, you can transfer direct reports in Genetec ClearID™.

What you should know

• This function is for identities locally managed in Genetec ClearID™. If identities are managed using an external data source, the transfer will be overwritten.
• To transfer direct reports, you must be an Account administrator, a Supervisor, or an identity with elevated write permissions for identities.
• You can transfer direct reports to another identity (regardless of their permissions).
• You can add up to 20 supervisors when transferring direct reports.

1. Select the direct reports to transfer.
   • If you are an Account administrator or identity, go to Organization > Identities , select an identity, and click Direct reports.
   • If you are a supervisor, go to My Profile > Direct reports .
2. Click Transfer direct reports.
3. In the Transfer direct reports window:
   1. Search for and select one or more supervisors.
   2. Enter a reason for the transfer.
   3. Select the direct reports you want to transfer.
4. Click Transfer.
