To manage the types of requests that web portal users can make, you can change the
request visibility settings in the Genetec ClearID™ web portal.
What you should know
- Only Account administrators can change request visibility settings.
- Changing these settings affects the types of requests available to all web portal
users.
Procedure

In the ClearID portal, click .

In the Request visibility section, configure the settings as
needed:
- Enable request visibility for web portal users
- Allow web portal users to make requests.
- Request access
- Let users request area access for themselves, roles, or other identities.
- Request role
- Let users request role membership for themselves or other identities.
- Request an identity
- Let users create a single identity in the system.
- Request multiple identities
- Let users create more than one identity in the system.
- Invite visitors
- Let users invite one or more visitors to areas.

Click Save.
Users can only access selected request types in the
New
request dialogue.
