Modifying identities

After you have added identities, you might need to modify the identity details. You can deactivate or activate an identity, or modify identity details after a change in job title, department, company, supervisors, personal information, and so on.

What you should know

  • Only Account administrators, or supervisors and identities or roles with the required permissions, can modify identities.
  • Only account administrators can delete identities.
Important:
If you update identities that are synchronized with an external data source, your changes can be overwritten by the synchronization.

Procedure

  1. From the Home page, click Organization > Identities .
  2. Click the drop-down menu and select an option:
    Active
    Displays active identities.
    Inactive
    Displays inactive identities.
    All
    Displays all active and inactive identities.
  3. In the Search field, enter your search criteria and press Enter.
  4. Select an identity from the list to view the identity details.

  5. Modify any settings, or deactivate or activate an identity as required.
    For example, after a change in job title, department, company, supervisors, personal information, and so on.
  6. Click Save.

After you finish

Delete Identities that are obsolete or no longer required.
