Adding supervisors manually

To help manage requests from your direct reports, Account administrators can manually add supervisors to the relevant identity profiles so that the supervisor approval workflow can be used.

Procedure

  1. From the homepage, click Organization > Identities .
  2. Search for or select an identity from the list.
    Tip:
    Use the Active, Inactive, or All filters to narrow your search.
  3. Click the identity.
  4. In the Supervisors section, click .
    The Supervisors section of the Identity page in the ClearID portal.
  5. Search for or select one or more users to add as supervisors and click Add.
    Note:
    Adding multiple supervisors is useful when employees or supervisors work shifts or a rotating days system.
  6. (Optional) Click to remove any supervisors.
  7. Click Save.
The supervisors that you selected are added to the supervisors list for this identity.
