Supervisors can manage their direct reports access. This includes general
identity information, area access, modifying or removing roles, task delegation, and access
control.
What you should know
- To manage direct reports, you must be a
Supervisor.
- To modify General identity information or Access control settings
for a direct report, you must be a Supervisor with the manage direct reports
permission.
Procedure

From the Home page, click .

Select the direct report that you want to modify.
Tip: Use the filters to search for and select the direct report you
require.
- General identity information attributes are typically synchronized from an external
data source.
- If the identity is synchronized, your changes can be overwritten during the next
synchronization.
- A Supervisor with default permissions cannot modify any of the General
identity information for their direct reports.
- A Supervisor with manage direct reports
permission can modify the general identity information. This enhanced
permission is typically used to manage contractors or temporary workers who are not
synchronized from an external data source.

Click the Access tab.

Click Request access to request access to one or more areas.

Click
to remove any area access that is no longer required and click
Revoke to confirm the removal.
Note: You can only remove area access that was manually added. Area access that was
added using a provisioning policy is identified using the locked (

) icon and cannot be modified.

Click the Roles tab.

Click a role hyperlink to view the role details.

To remove the role access that is no longer required, click
beside a role and click Remove.

Click the Delegations tab.

Click Add delegation to delegate tasks to another user.

Click
to modify the settings.

Click
to remove a delegation.

Click the Access control tab.
A Supervisor with manage direct reports permission can modify the
Access control settings

Click the User permissions tab to view the web portal
permissions.

Click the Visitor management tab to view the visitor management
settings.
