Completing an identity access review (supervisor)

To ensure security compliance or audit readiness, Supervisors can perform identity access reviews to check your direct reports areas and roles access.

What you should know

  • Supervisors can complete an identity access review from the My tasks page of the Dashboard or from an email notification.
  • Reviews can’t be edited after completion.
  • Completed reviews are stored for audit and tracking purposes.

Procedure

  1. Click Dashboard > My tasks .
  2. Select an identity access review.
  3. In the Access control section, review the details.

    1. (Optional) Select Person requires extended grant time to extend the amount of time doors are unlocked for cardholders with "extended grant time".
    2. (Optional) Select an Activation date and time.
      If left blank, the current date and time are used.
    3. (Optional) Select an Expiration date and time.
      If left blank, the cardholder never expires.
      Note:
      After an Activation date or Expiration date has been specified, you must include a time.
    4. Click Confirm and save.
      To modify settings, repeat the steps and click Confirm and save again.
  4. In the Area access section, review the areas the identity can access.
    1. Click to confirm that access is still valid.
      Tip:
      To speed up approval when the list is long, click Approve all remaining and remove any access that is no longer required.
    2. Click to revoke access that is no longer needed.
    3. (Optional) Select Show already reviewed to display items that have already been reviewed.
    4. Click Next.
  5. In the Roles section, review the identity's roles.

    1. Verify the role information and confirm whether access should be kept or removed.
    2. Click Next.
  6. In the Auto-granted roles section, review the roles assigned to the identity.
    Note:
    Supervisors can review this information, but they cannot make changes. If any role looks incorrect, contact an Account administrator.

  7. In the Summary section, verify the details.
    1. In the History section, review the summary of changes made to the access review.
      The summary displays information about any identity or role changes that will occur when you click Complete.
    2. (Optional) In the Comments section, enter details or comments relevant to the review.
    3. (Optional) Click Back to return to previous sections and modify your changes.
    4. Click Complete.
