Completing an area access review (site owner)

To ensure security compliance or audit readiness, Site owners can perform access reviews to check who has access to an area.

What you should know

  • No changes can be made to an access review after it has been completed.
  • All Completed reviews are retained for audit and tracking purposes.

Procedure

  1. From the Home page, click Reports > Access reviews .
  2. Filter the report as needed.
  3. In the Access reviews report section, select an area access review.
  4. In the Access section, review who has access.
    1. Click to confirm that access is still valid.
      Tip:
      Use Approve all remaining to approve all remaining items.
    2. Click to remove access that is no longer required.
    3. (Optional) Select Show already reviewed to display items that have already been reviewed.
    4. (Optional) Click Close and continue later to pause the review for a later time.
    5. Click Next.
    The verification status is listed in the Verification column and is updated when an assigned verifier performs their second-level review. The area access review can go through several rounds of review and verification until the reviewer and verifier reach a consensus.
  5. In the Summary section, verify that the review details are correct.
    1. In the History section, review the summary of changes made to the access review.
      The summary displays information about any identity or role changes that will occur when you click Complete.
    2. (Optional) In the Comments section, enter details or comments relevant to the review.
    3. (Optional) Click Back to return to previous sections and modify your changes.
    4. Click Complete.
