- About watchlists
  In Genetec ClearID™, watchlists screen visitors by name or company details. They can block or notify at site or global level, and are managed by watchlist managers.
- Adding watchlist managers
  In Genetec ClearID™, a watchlist manager is responsible for creating and maintaining watchlists. They can add individuals or companies, configure site-level or global watchlists, and update existing settings. Before you can add or modify watchlists, you must first assign watchlist managers.
- Adding watchlists
  To screen visitors at the person or company level, you can add individual or company watchlists. Based on the configuration, watchlists can automatically block or notify at the site or global level.
  - Adding individuals to a watchlist
    You can add people to an individuals watchlist so Genetec ClearID™ can screen them when they visit. Depending on how the watchlist is set up, ClearID will then automatically block them or notify managers, either for a specific site or across all sites.
  - Adding companies to a watchlist
    You can add companies to a watchlist so ClearID can screen visitors at a company level when they visit. Depending on how the watchlist is set up, ClearID will then automatically block them or notify managers, either for a specific site or across all sites.
  - Importing watchlist entries from a file
    To speed up your watchlist configuration and setup, you can import your watchlist entries from a CSV file. You can also download a sample CSV file to prepare your watchlist entries file in the correct format.
  - Exporting watchlist entries to a file
    You can export watchlist entries to a CSV file for bulk editing or backup. For example, edit them in Excel to remove duplicates, merge entries, or consolidate into a new watchlist.
  - Testing watchlist entries
    To test new watchlist entries, you can enter the details of a person of interest or a company of interest to verify if there is a screening match.
  - Deleting watchlist entries
    A watchlist manager can delete individuals or companies watchlist entries that are obsolete or no longer needed.
- Modifying watchlists
  After you add your watchlists, you can modify some of the watchlist settings. A watchlist manager can disable a watchlist, change its name or description, and adjust its behavior.
- Deleting watchlists
  Watchlist managers can delete watchlists that are no longer needed. You may also need to delete a watchlist if switching between a site watchlist to a global watchlist.
- Screening visitors manually
  To manually screen a visitor, you can enter the visitor details to check if there is a screening match. For example, you might test a new watchlist, validate a new hire, or look up a company of interest.
- Unblocking visitors blocked by a watchlist
  To unblock visitors incorrectly blocked by a watchlist, you can add the visitors' email to an always allow list.

Deleting watchlist entries

A watchlist manager can delete individuals or companies watchlist entries that are obsolete or no longer needed.

What you should know

A watchlist entry can only be deleted by the watchlist manager who created it.

Procedure

Click Organization > Watchlists .
Select a watchlist from the list.
To narrow the results, you can select Created by me.
Find the entry to delete:
- Select it from the list
- Search for it
Scroll to the bottom of the watchlist entry and click Delete entry.
In the Delete entry dialog, click Remove to confirm.
