- About visit request workflow
  A visit request workflow is a series of activities performed by the system or authorized people during the life cycle of a visit request. The activities can change the state and properties of visit requests, affect other entities in the system, or wait for conditions to be met.

  A watchlist workflow is a series of activities performed by the system or authorized people during the life cycle of a visit request if watchlists are enabled. The activities can change the state and properties of watchlists, affect other entities in the system, or wait for conditions to be met.

  - Adding a new visit profile
    To establish rules, approval workflows, and required information for different visitors, Site owners can add visit profiles to their sites in Genetec ClearID™.

    To establish the types of visits that can take place at your site and the areas visitors can access, site owners can configure the visit type configurations for each visit profile.

- Viewing visit event logs
  To audit operator and visitor actions on check-in devices and review absent attendees, you can export visit event logs as CSV files in Genetec ClearID™.

  To quickly create similar visits, you can copy a visit event and reuse details for recurring visits or events with many participants.

  To keep attendees informed before a visit event begins, you can modify visit event details, visitors, and hosts in Genetec ClearID™.
- Approving visit event requests
  To decide which pending visit event requests to approve, Visit event approvers can review request details and approve valid requests in Genetec ClearID™.
- Adding visit events to your calendar
  To track upcoming visits and simplify check-in, hosts and visitors can add Genetec ClearID™ visit events to their calendars using the ICS file in the confirmation email.
- About visitors report
  In Genetec ClearID™, a visitors report is a list of current or upcoming visits, or visits that occurred in the past for a specific site. The report includes information about visitor name, event requester, event name, expected arrival, check-in, check-out, and watchlist status.

  To review visitor activity for a specific site, Site owners and Watchlist managers can view current, upcoming, or past visits and filter results by requester, expected arrival, or watchlist status.

About visit profiles

To tailor visitor management settings for various scenarios within a single location, Site owners can configure visit profiles in Genetec ClearID™.

Visit profiles can contain up to two visit types:
- Planned
- Walk-in
Sites can contain unlimited planned visit type profiles and up to 10 walk-in visit type profiles.
Users can select a visit profile when creating a visit request to automatically fill in meetup and parking locations, areas the visitor needs to access, and more.
- In cases where there is more than one configured location or area, visitors can choose from the available options.
