- About visit request workflow
  A visit request workflow is a series of activities performed by the system or authorized people during the life cycle of a visit request. The activities can change the state and properties of visit requests, affect other entities in the system, or wait for conditions to be met.

  In Genetec ClearID™, a visitors report is a list of current or upcoming visits, or visits that occurred in the past for a specific site. The report includes information about visitor name, event requester, event name, expected arrival, check-in, check-out, and watchlist status.

Configuring visitor check-in photo settings

To manage visitor privacy and adhere to data retention policies, Site owners can configure photo-taking and storage settings for the Genetec ClearID™ Self-Service Kiosk.

Before you begin

Configure a visit profile for your site

Procedure

In the Genetec ClearID™ web portal, click Organization > Site > Visitor management .
Select a visit profile from the list.
Under General profile settings, expand Visitor check-in photos.
Select Take visitor photo during check-in to take photos of visitors at the Self-Service Kiosk.
Take visitor photo during check-in is selected by default.
Select Store visitor photos in ClearID.
ClearID stores visitor photos for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years. This setting can be configured per site to comply with regional data laws.
Click Save.
(Optional) View saved visitor photos.
1. In the ClearID web portal, click Reports > Visitors .
2. Filter the report as needed.
3. View the saved photos in the Pictures column, or select a visit event to view the visit details.
