Signing in to ClearID

Sign in to Genetec ClearID™ to access the web portal and manage physical access requests.

Before you begin

  • Enable cookies in your browser.
  • If your organization does not use corporate directory authentication, activate your ClearID account using the link in your email before signing in.

Procedure

  1. In your web browser, enter or select the required host as detailed in your account activation email.
    For example:

    If your organization uses corporate logon (single sign-on with Microsoft Office 365 or similar), your account is activated automatically and you will not receive an activation email.

  2. On the Logon page, enter your username and click Logon.
  3. If you have multiple accounts, click Change account under your user ID to switch at any time.
    • The account ID appears in the page URL (for example, https://hostname/accountid/currentpage).
    • The account ID changes based on the logged-on user.

After you finish

To exit ClearID, click your name at the top of the page and then click Log off.

You will also be logged off automatically after a period of inactivity (default is 30 minutes, depending on configuration).
