Resetting user passwords

If you are unable to authenticate while logging on to an account managed by Genetec ClearID™, you can reset your password.

What you should know

Use this procedure to reset your password in ClearID when your user ID is unable to authenticate an account managed by ClearID. Use industry best practices for creating strong passwords.
Note: This procedure is not applicable to corporate single sign-on.

Procedure

  1. In a web browser, do one of the following:
  2. Enter your email address.
    You are redirected to https://login.microsoft.com.
  3. Click Can't access your account?
  4. Follow the instructions to get a verification code.
    1. Enter the verification code.
    2. Enter a new password.
You can now access ClearID using the password you just created.
