To define how identity data flows between CSV files and Genetec ClearID™, Account
administrators must configure your identity field mappings.
Procedure

In the ClearID web portal, click .

Select the Cloud CSV configuration you want to configure from the list.

In the Identity field mappings section, click
.

In the Identity field mappings dialog box, configure the mappings
as needed.
The External ID ClearID field is mapped to the CSV file by
default.

To add a new mapping, click Add mapping field.

In the ClearID field column select the ClearID field to map.

In the Mapping type column, select the mapping type:
- Direct
- Applies the CSV value to the ClearID identity field when synchronized.
- Regex
- Applies a regex transformation to the field value when synchronizing from the
CSV file row to the ClearID identity.
- Fixed
- Applies a fixed value for the field. For example, the value for the
Active field will always be true.

In the CSV field column, select the CSV column to map to the selected
ClearID field.

In the Example value from CSV file column, view example values pulled from
your CSV template for the mappings you have configured.
If the uploaded CSV template doesn't contain any data, then the Example value
from CSV file column is empty.

Click Save.

Define how access credentials (such as card numbers and facility codes) flow into the
system from your CSV file to ensure your synchronized users receive functional access rights.
