To ensure the Genetec ClearID™ Local Agent correctly detects data changes in
non-standard files, Account administrators can specify custom delimiters and encoding formats in
the advanced configuration settings.
Procedure

In the ClearID web portal, click .

Select the Cloud CSV configuration you want to configure from the list.

In the Advanced configurations section, click
.

In the Delimiter section, select the character used to separate
data values in your CSV file:
- Comma (default)
- Semicolon
- Colon
- Space
- Tab
- Pipe

In the Encoding section, select the format of the CSV file:
- UTF-8 (default)
- ISO-8859-1
The format specifies how characters are read as text.

Click Save.
After you finish
Activate your configuration so the Local Agent begins monitoring your folder and
synchronizing data.
