Configuring Cloud CSV advanced configurations

To ensure the Genetec ClearID™ Local Agent correctly detects data changes in non-standard files, Account administrators can specify custom delimiters and encoding formats in the advanced configuration settings.

Before you begin

Configure Cloud CSV credential field mappings.

Procedure

  1. In the ClearID web portal, click Administration > Identity synchronization .
  2. Select the Cloud CSV configuration you want to configure from the list.
  3. In the Advanced configurations section, click .
  4. In the Delimiter section, select the character used to separate data values in your CSV file:
    • Comma (default)
    • Semicolon
    • Colon
    • Space
    • Tab
    • Pipe
  5. In the Encoding section, select the format of the CSV file:
    • UTF-8 (default)
    • ISO-8859-1
    The format specifies how characters are read as text.
  6. Click Save.

After you finish

Activate your configuration so the Local Agent begins monitoring your folder and synchronizing data.
