Account administrators can set expiration policies to remove pending role,
access, visit, and identity requests and ensure that only relevant requests remain in the
Genetec ClearID™ system.
What you should know
- Pending requests with a specified end date automatically expire when the end date
passes.
- If a request does not have an end date, it will stay pending in the system unless an
expiration policy is set.
Procedure
-
In the ClearID web portal, click .
-
In the Request expiry section, choose whether to configure expiry
policies for each of the following request types:
- Roles
- Accesses
- Visits
- Identities
-
For each request type, choose one of the following:
- No end date
- Keeps the request in the system as an expired pending request.
- Enforce a time limit to expire pending identity requests
- Changes the status of the request from pending to canceled or expired.
When
requests are canceled or expired, the requester must create a new request to
continue the request process.
-
If you select Enforce a time limit to expire pending identity
requests, enter a number of days in the Time limit
field.
-
Click Save.
