Adding custom links

To direct portal users to your company's support resources and pages, an Account administrator can add custom links to the Genetec ClearID™ interface.

Procedure

  1. In the ClearID web portal, click Administration > Account configuration .
  2. In the Custom links subsection, click Add link.
    1. Enter the hyperlink item name and URL.
    2. Click Save.
    The new hyperlink appears in the Links menu above the Help menu.

    Note:
    The Links menu requires at least one custom hyperlink to be visible.
  3. (Optional) Use the icons beside each link to:
    Delete
    Remove the custom link.
    Hide or Show
    Hide or display the link in the menu.
    Go to URL
    Open the linked page.
