Adding a Cloud CSV synchronization folder

To synchronize identities between third-party systems and Genetec ClearID™ using a CSV file, you must add a Cloud CSV synchronization folder in the ClearID portal.

Before you begin

Set up the Cloud CSV local agent.

What you should know

  • You must be an Account administrator to configure Cloud CSV management settings.
  • The Genetec ClearID Local Agent monitors the selected folder and synchronizes identities when new CSV files are detected.
  • The ClearID portal must be opened in a browser running on the same machine where the CSV files and local agent reside.

Procedure

  1. In the ClearID web portal, click Administration > Identity synchronization .
  2. Select the Cloud CSV configuration you want to configure from the list.
  3. In the Synchronization folder section, click .
  4. Search for and select a folder in the file explorer.
The folder path is added to the portal so that it can be referenced by the Local Agent.
