Assigning the administrator role and resources to the Okta application

To ensure that the portal has the access rights to synchronize identity information between Okta and Genetec ClearID™, Account administrators and IT security personnel must connect the administrator role and resource set to the Okta application.

Before you begin

• Configure group and user access in Okta.
• Create an administrator role in Okta.
• Create an Okta application.

1. Access https://login.okta.com/ and sign in to your Okta organization.
2. From the homepage, click Security > Administrators .
3. On the Overview page, click Add administrator.
4. Select the application you created from the Select admin list.
5. Complete the assignment for your Okta application.
   1. Select the administrator role you created.
   2. Select the resource set you created.
6. Click Save changes.
