Adding a new Microsoft Entra ID synchronization configuration

To enable identity synchronization between Microsoft Entra ID and Genetec ClearID™, you must first add a new synchronization configuration in the ClearID portal.

Before you begin

What you should know

You must be an Account administrator to add a new Microsoft Entra ID synchronization configuration to the ClearID portal.
You can add as many Microsoft Entra ID synchronizations to the portal as you require.

Procedure

In the ClearID web portal, click Administration > Identity synchronization .
Click Add synchronization.
In the New synchronization configuration dialog, set the base configuration.
1. In the Configuration name field, enter a name for the new configuration.
2. Select Microsoft Entra ID from the Synchronization type list.
Click Save.

The new configuration now appears in the list of identity synchronizations.
