Adding a new Microsoft Entra ID synchronization configuration

To enable identity synchronization between Microsoft Entra ID and Genetec ClearID™, you must first add a new synchronization configuration in the ClearID portal.

Before you begin

What you should know

  • You must be an Account administrator to add a new Microsoft Entra ID synchronization configuration to the ClearID portal.
  • You can add as many Microsoft Entra ID synchronizations to the portal as you require.

Procedure

  1. In the ClearID web portal, click Administration > Identity synchronization .
  2. Click Add synchronization.
  3. In the New synchronization configuration dialog, set the base configuration.

    1. In the Configuration name field, enter a name for the new configuration.
    2. Select Microsoft Entra ID from the Synchronization type list.
  4. Click Save.
The new configuration now appears in the list of identity synchronizations.
