Modifying visit events

To update details or add or remove visitors and hosts, you can modify a visit event. Updates ensure that all attendees have the latest information.

What you should know

  • Visit events can only be modified before the visit event begins.
  • Updated information is included in email notifications.
  • If visit event approval is enabled, the relevant approvers must reapprove any changes or additions to a visit event.
  • Changing a visitor or host email sends a cancellation to the old address and a new invite to the updated address.
  • Changes to visitor or host names do not trigger email notifications, but still require re-approval.

Procedure

  1. Click Dashboard > Visits .
  2. (Optional) Filter the list:
    • Name
    • Status
    • Site
    • Date
  3. Click a visit event and review the event details.
  4. Click Edit event.

  5. Modify the following as required:
    • Name
    • Event date and time
    • Event information: parking, host meetup location, and notes.
    • Visitors: add, update, or remove.

      Any changes to visitors are assessed again to verify any watchlist screening criteria.

    • Hosts: add, update, or remove.
  6. Click Save.
