Hosts and visitors can keep track of events and simplify the check-in process by adding
visits to their calendars. To add a Genetec ClearID™ visit event to your calendar, open the
visit confirmation email and download the attached ICS file.
When a visit event is created, both the host and the visitors receive a confirmation
email with the details of the event. The confirmation email also includes an ICS file that you
can use to add the event to your digital calendar.
Procedure
Open the visit confirmation email.
Download the attached CSV file.
Note:
Both ICS files contain the details of the visit. The visitor's
copy also includes a QR code, allowing them to check in to the event directly from their
calendar.
Follow the instructions in your chosen digital calendar to add the visit event.
You can now view the visit event and its details in your
calendar.
