A custom field is a user-defined property associated with an
entity type. Custom fields are useful for storing additional
information.
In Security Center, Genetec ClearID™ uses custom fields for visitors, credentials, and
cardholders functions. The group name ClearID is used to identify the
custom fields associated with ClearID, and can be found in the Group
name/Priority column.
Important: ClearID custom fields should be
used as read-only fields. These custom field values are populated and managed by ClearID.
If you have existing custom fields, and the name and entity type matches the ClearID
custom fields, ClearID will use the existing custom fields.
You can see the complete list for your organization in Config Tool. In the
System task, click General settings
> Custom fields.
Note: Only users with the privilege Modify custom field definitions can view
custom fields.
