You can use the Genetec ClearID™ self-service portal to invite guests for a visit or event. If area managers are specified, it simplifies the approval process and avoids interrupting a chain of people who might or might not be the correct approvers.
The options displayed when creating a visitor invite can vary depending on your specific site and visitor management settings. Furthermore, if your identity home site is configured, you can invite visitors directly to that site if the visitor management settings allow it.
Invitation methods
Depending on the size of your event, ClearID supports two different methods for inviting visitors:
- Manual invitations: Best for inviting five or fewer visitors at a time.
- CSV import: If you have more than five visitors, prepare a CSV file to import your visitor list in bulk.
